Delightful sterling silver and robin's egg-blue turquoise stud earrings reminiscent of Native American conchos. Oval turquoise gems are bezel set at the center of the conchos. The conchos are shining sterling silver domes engraved with a petal-like design. These are post earrings with tension backs. The backs are marked "Sterling" and they have makers marks. Everything about these studs is light, bright and pretty. Circa 1980.

Conchos are metal disks, traditionally used with Western horseback riding saddles. Usually made with two slits to allow saddle strings to pass through the concho securing the saddle's skirts to the saddle tree.

Details.....These earrings measure 13.4mm by 14.6mm. In Very Good Vintage Condition. As with all vintage jewelry, wear should be expected in keeping with their age. We consider it to be part of their charm.
